A very large (nearly 5.5ft) conical-shaped copper fireplace hood, removed from a 1960s villa in Ibiza. The unpolished copper fireplace hood has the most wonderful patination and interesting areas of verdigris.
There are five supports to the back of the hood and four Fleur-de-lis wall fixings to the front. It is decorated with an attractive scallop and rivet decoration down the front, with a rolled edge, which runs around the entire piece.
There are a few decorative rivets missing from the lower right hand side, and the rolled edge at the bottom has a little damage – shown in the images – but nothing that detracts from such a stunning piece.
Measurements: 168cm H x 112cm W x 40cm D (28cm at the top)
