Georgian mahogany tilt-top table, bird cage wine table This lovely table it stands on a three footed ball and claw base carved with acanthus leaves at the knees and has a attractive twist turned centre leg, the leg supports swivelling mechanism known as a “bird cage” The mahogany top is larger then most and has a very attractive carved edge, it tilts and swivels easily, and is held in place by a small brass catch underneath, this top is removable if required The table is in excellent condition with a very pretty patina The table stands 29” high and it is 33” in diameter
