Vintage Design
This design is illustrated in the Studio Yearbook of Decorative Art 1957/8 and in the reprinted version in Charlotte and Peter Fiell’s Taschen book of Decorative art of the 50s. It is also well documented in contemporary Polish design literature, the design having been exhibited in the 2nd Interior Architecture Exhibition in Warsaw 1957.
All rattan is sound, without breaks and is totally complete, there is one piece to the front of the seat which has a historic crack to the rattan as shown but is totally stable.
