Large Black Forest coat rack, with in the lower part a bear clinging to a tree trunk at the top of which a teddy bear is playing: the branches form the coat rack, with a mirror, the trunk of the tree the umbrella stand with his tray
Very beautiful work from the Black Forest, late 19th early 20th century: the sculpture is of very high quality (see bear’s fur), the patina is remarkable, the bears have glass eyes
Some old restorations, some gaps, cracks in wood (see photos). Disassembles into 2 parts
Bear appearing in the catalog of the workshop of Meiringer Holzschnitzerei A.-G
