19th century English Mahogany Chest of Drawers has a decidedly Colonial look, with style cues inspired by the Queen Anne furnishings of prior centuries. Created from exotic mahogany imported from the Americas, it features a tailored architecture defined by three full-width and two half-width drawers and curvaceous pediment feet on all four corners. Classic brass bale pulls provide easy access. The plank top also is affixed with a solid rail on the back side to keep things in place. Relatively shallow, it will make a great choice for cozy rooms or areas where passing traffic is a concern. The sheer richness of the exquisite wood is still plain for all to appreciate. Note the craftsmen’s attention to detail in the drawer dovetailing, and the rough-hewn appearance of the back side.
