19th century Swiss inlaid tilt-top center table is a fascinating work of art in wood, crafted by master artisans to be a miniature showcase piece for all to admire! The marquetry on the top is amazing, with a stag and doe in silhouette on an ebonized oval background framed with intricately designed walnut which in turn is surrounded by another ebonized framework outlined in satinwood, with a flowering vine and tendrils appearing around the contoured and carved edging for a beautiful display either flat or tilted and against the wall, making it a portable work of art! The stand is an intricately turned and carved pedestal featuring multiple motifs, connected to three legs carved to depict grapevines and leaves, with each leg separated by a rosette on the pedestal, below which appears an acorn pendant finial. The top easily tilts to show off the top and place against the wall to free up floor space.
