Here is an amazing piece of American history that is in great condition for it’s age and function. The piece is a luggage trunk made by Hudson in the late 1800’s -early 1920’s. The trunk is meant to stand upright, as shown and open out into a functioning wardrobe closet while traveling! The original hangers are still here and working great. The left side top lifts up so you can actually slide out the chrome clothing rod and space out your wardrobe. Below is a lift up drawer/cubby. On the right side, there are functioning drawers to store all sorts of fun items. My favorite part of the trunk is that it says V.P. Detroit Mich. on the top. Such a great piece that looks awesome and is totally functional.

The parts of the trunk that are visible look very good, with appropriate wear and age for a piece of luggage. The trunk closes and opens well. The locking mechanism does not work and the original key is missing. There is wear to the interior, but functions well. less
