Side table in mahogany, Art Deco, attributed to the famous French creator and decorator Jules-Emile Leleu (1883-1961). Decorated officer of the Order of Arts and Letters, Leleu is known for having notably produced the furnishings of large French ocean liners and administrative buildings around the world.
This circular heedon has a vertical veneer belt.
The upward upwards forms a right angle.
The underside is slightly molded and blackened.
The “said cruciform” barrel is made up of four elements united with drop-down, forming columns, whose facades are half-round.
The whole rests on a base, in the shape of a four -leaf clover, set with a chromed metal rod.
This sober but nevertheless atypical heedon will appeal to amateurs of Leleu creations.
