Vintage Design
This daybed is called ‘Arielle’ and was designed in 1955 by Wim Rietveld for Auping. An example of post-war design from the Netherlands. This is a unique version that you can fold up very easily. When the bed is upright, you can easily move it, partly because of the wheels underneath. Can be used as a bed (mattress size 80 x 190 cm), but also as a lounge sofa, for example. In solid condition with age-related traces on the frame.
