Vintage Design
Very elegant pair of mid-century reconstruction chairs that were sourced in the south of France, post-war design.
The design is reminiscent of René Gabriel and is a typical example of the French reconstruction movement; meaning functional furniture, with simplified lines made of natural elements. Thanks to these principles, the chairs still feel and look very chic. And next to looking beautiful, they also are very comfortable.
The armchairs’ frame is made of solid oak and the cushions have been reupholstered in a high-quality khaki velvet fabric. The color and texture of the fabric really elevates the overall esthetic of the chair, making them beautiful from every angle.
