Very fine and important Georgian circa 1780 Oyster veneer Bureau bookcase with original candle holders A highly decorative and important bureau bookcase dating to the latter part of the 18th century. The frame is English oak which has been finished with the finest cuts of oyster veneer I have ever seen The astral glazed bookcase top sits on a multi compartment and drawered bureau which in turn sits on top of bank of drawers, this piece once dressed looks sublime Condition wise, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect, all of which adds to the charismatic look and feel Dimensions Height:- 196cm Width:- 89cm Depth:- 46cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
