This German Black Forest side table / desk from the late 19th century features a rectangular top with molding. The top sits on a richly carved apron, adorned with foliage motifs. The front section has an exquisite single drawer, which opens up to reveal a slanted panel intended for writing. The table is raised on four exquisite turned bobbin legs with cross stretcher. The connection between the legs and stretcher is decorated with rosette motifs. This Black Forest table from circa 1880 is made of oak with an ebonized finish. It is in great condition with some replaced and added elements.
