Vintage Design
An exceptionally rare low side chair with rush seat made in The Netherlands around 1930s by Jac. Levee. There is some debate regarding the chair as some have suggested that this is a prototype or a test model from Levees workplace. The dining chairs in this style are more commonly known and also the bench and coffee table in this stye can be found here and there, this model is presumably only one of one. As can be seen in the pics there has been an honest repair to one of the back pieces where by accident the cut outs were made to hold top rail but were not correctly cut and aligned and therefore filled again as can be seen in the last pic. The chair is further in great condition considering its age.
