Vintage Design
Viva Italia! This special “postmodern” dining room set / Office set from the 70s/80 is absolutely unique. The seats are a design by the Italian designer Osvaldo Borsani. Produced by Tecno. Model: “mode”. The 5 seats are made of black plastic with metal base. Nice detail is the organic shape of the chassis. Absolutely a beautiful timeless design. The seats are stamped & noticed on the bottom. The “mode” chair was first created in 19762 in Tecno’s own design center. These were intended for the Tecno graphic office. They have a nice seat and are rotatable. The white round dining room table (in all probability of Pierre Paulin for Artifort) fits nicely with this special set of seats. The metal “tulip” chassis matches nicely with the chassis of the Tecno seats. A beautiful & stylish combination. Given the age in a nice vintage condition.
