Vintage Design
Completely restored comfortable high back armchair produced in Czechoslovakia during 50/60s in limited numbers
Design stems from seating production of Krasna Jizba or CUD, with designers such as Jan Vanek or duo Kropacek and Kozelka during 40s. Typical for this period is use of ash wood here with then modern use of acrylic glas for armrests. Quite rare to find one with original undamaged Plexiglas and blinders Reupholstered into structured velvety fabric by Gancedo edition Soft London Paddington Azul
New hemp straps on ash wood frame. Frame stripped off original varnish, hand sanded, stained light teak color and coated with 8 layers of Osmo hard wax oil to semi mate.
Seat height is from 42 down to 35 cm
