Vintage Design
Judit Burián, Hungarian artist, designed the “Erika” chair in 1959. She was inspired by the chair of French designer, Pierre Guariche Tonneau. Erika was produced by the SZKIV (Chair, and Upholstery Industry Factory) in tens of thousands of copies.
This could be found in almost all Hungarian households during socialism.
