Mid-Century Scandinavian Painted Birch Chest of Drawers, 1960s

Mid-Century scandinavian painted birch chest of drawers circa 1960. Fine example of Swedish modern furniture. Birch top with further birch elements such as the handles and feet, with a painted pine main body. 3 graduating drawers fitted with turned handles and metal key hole, standing on 4 cabriole legs. Original paint which was marked and stained has been removed and replaced with a winter grey chalk based paint, which provides and excellent contrast to the golden birch elements. Ideal for use in the bedroom or hallway. Fully restored in our workshop.
