Vintage Design
Swedish grace upholstered armchairs from the early 20th century, around 1920 to 1930 in Sweden. The armchairs are unusual and made in a style similar to that of Swedish designer Axel Einar Hjort. The chairs have a frame in stained birch and hand worked finish. Loose cushions that are renovated and reupholstered with the fabric Makalu White from Finnish Lauritzson. Makalu is a fabric woven with yarn containing wool and alpaca which creates a very soft and plush fabric. The frames are in good vintage condition consistent with age and use.
