This real Mid Century Bureau was made at the Drexel company and is a design of the designer Barney Flagg employed by them. The Drexel company is founded in 1903 in the village of the same name. It is located at the foot of the famous Blue Ridge Mountains in the state of North Carolina. Six business partners start a furniture factory there that would grow into one of the largest and most renowned in the country. This office was purchased in 2023 from the first owners in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The first owners bought the office in America and moved it to England and eventually to the Netherlands in the 1960s, where they started working.
